A handful of lawyers have joined the ranks of Atlanta-based Am Law 100 firm King & Spalding over the past two weeks.
The firm announced Monday its hire of Kirkland & Ellis environmental litigation partners ILANA SALTZBART and GRANTA NAKAYAMA in Washington, D.C., to bolster its environmental regulatory practice. Nakayama is a longtime Kirkland partner who left the firm in 2005 after former President George W. Bush nominated him to serve as assistant administrator for the Environmental Protection Agency’s office of enforcement and compliance assurance. Nakayama spent four years in the role. Saltzbart joined Kirkland in 2011 after serving in a senior enforcement role at the EPA.
