A Miami man who helped broker crooked lawyer Scott Rothstein’s bogus settlements was sentenced to two years in prison Friday.

Richard L. Pearson pleaded guilty in October to conspiracy to commit wire fraud in the operation of Fort Lauderdale law firm of Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler, where Rothstein engineered his $1.2 billion Ponzi scheme.
