Involving Young Ag Professionals

Jack Fisher, Executive Vice President of the Ohio Farm Bureau addressed members and delegates during the Ohio Farm Bureau Federation’s Annual Meeting on Thursday, December 11, 2014.

Fisher talked about the importance of involving more young people in the organization. The challenge Fisher says is how they do that.

“There are a few exceptions, some people just step up, but more than likely they have to be asked,” said Fisher. “When you reach out to people, busy people that you reach out to with a cause, with a challenge, are gonna help you, we have to ask more people.”
