Jon Stewart to Silliest Man on Fox: F*ck You. Seriously.
Jon Stewart started last night's Daily Show by admiting to a mistake. On his list of black men shot to death by police he aired last week, Stewart wrongly included a man who had actually died from a drug overdose. That one error, Stewart says, allowed Fox News the space to attack the entire segment and shift the conversation away from police brutality.
"Jon Stewart uses his show to slam the cops!" announced a Fox and Friends host brightly.
"Sonavabitch! That's what I'm talking about!" Stewart yells in frustration. "And I can't even fight back!"
"The Daily Show has to be right 100 percent of the time," Stewart continues. "Fox only has to be right once."
Fox host Brian Kilmeade is especially keen to rub it in. "Just so you know, in case Jon Stewart wants to include this tonight," Kilmeade says, "85 NYPD officers were killed after 9/11.
"F*ck you Brian," Stewart counters. "Seriously." Stewart goes on to say that you can be sorry about the deaths of police officers and still care about police brutality; they are not mutually exclusive.
