It’s been a tradition in recent years at Thanksgiving that the Chairman of the National Turkey Federation provides the turkey for the President. The honor this year belongs to Gary Cooper, of Ohio based Cooper Farms.

“As far as we know our company is the only company from Ohio that has been able to take the turkey to the White House and by the way, we’ve done it twice now,” Cooper said. “My brother did it in 1996 and as far as we know we’re also the only two brothers that’s taken the turkeys to the White House.”
