A passion for beef production

From the time she showed her first calf at the age of three, Katie Friederichs of the Muscatine FFA Chapter in Iowa has had a passion for cattle. She joined the National Junior Angus Association when she was 11 and has been building her herd ever since.

Today, she has 20 cows with the goal of having 75 purebred Angus cows by 2025.
