Action is goal of Future Forum

Neil ClevelandInput and engagement followed by action is the ultimate goal for hosts of an agricultural forum underway this week.

A diverse network of professionals is gathered in Frankfurt, Germany for Bayer CropScience Corn Soybean Future Forum 2014.  Among those topics to be discussed are market trends, cultivation challenges for sustainable cropping, innovative solutions and new technologies that will drive the future of corn and soybean farming.

Neil Cleveland, Director of Commercial Operations for the Northern Sales Region for Bayer CropScience led the North America Future Forum session this morning which yielded some interesting conversation about economics, pollinators, integrated weed management and the role of equipment companies with data.  Cleveland is hopeful attendees will take away an appreciation and understanding of Bayer’s commitment to agriculture on a global basis.  He tells Brownfield, “Bayer is thoroughly committed to success in agriculture not only for ourselves, but for everyone who benefits from the products we bring to the marketplace.  We are in this for the long haul.”

Ultimately, Cleveland is hopeful discussions at the Bayer CropScience Corn Soybean Future Forum leads to actions taken to make a positive difference for those in attendance.
