Economist: margin protection program a positive step

Dairy producers are able to choose their level of protection of the margin between the cost of feed and the income from marketing milk. Scott Brown, a livestock and dairy economist at the University of Missouri, talked with Brownfield Ag News about some of the features of the 2014 farm bill dairy margin protection program.
