Japan Airlines Hacked!
Sadly this has been a great year for hackers, not so good for merchants and customers. The latest hit is Japan Airlines, allegedly because a JAL employee opened an email that contained a virus. The carrier reports that all their frequent flier accounts may be compromised.
As many as 750,000 accounts may have been affected. While all the primary information about accountholders may have been obtained by the hackers, JAL says that they believe that none of the passwords or credit card information was affected. Keep an eye out on your credit report, just in case. And go change your password!
