Ohio has its second National Beef Ambassador.

Demi Snider, a student in the College of Food, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) at Ohio State University has been selected as one of five National Beef Ambassadors for 2015, a role Sierra Jepsen of Ohio served in 2014.

“It’s a great honor and I’m super excited to see what the year has in store for me,” said the new National Beef Ambassador.

Snider, who is from Hardin County, is the only Ambassador from East of the Mississippi.

“I think what I’m looking forward to the most is to just be a part of the industry outside of my home state of Ohio.”

Demi’s responsibilities as a National Beef Ambassador will kick into high gear after the first of the year.

Joining Demi as 2015 Nation Beef Ambassadors are; Rachel Purdy of Wyoming, Will Pohlman of Arkansas, Alicia Smith of Texas, and Kayln McKibben of Oklahoma.
