Tagua beads are wonderful natural beads to use in jewelry designs. I have so much fun coming up with new designs as shown in last week's tagua bead giveaway from Ecuadorian Hands. Some of the shapes are quite unique so don't be put off by them. Rise to the challenge.
Using them also helps raise awareness about the plight of the elephants. Poachers are killing them in alarming numbers for their ivory. Tagua beads are excellent plant alternatives to ivory.
One lucky winner will get the chance to design with these natural beads. I numbered all the entries and got the random number generator on random.org to do the picking. The winning number was the one assigned to bairozan! Congratulations!
