Missouri farmer happy with harvest start

Missouri farmer Kurtis Gregory is very happy with his corn harvest so far. He tells Brownfield Ag News,“Really got going last week and that’s about like everyone around here. We’ve had some unbelievable weather and I’d also then say we’ve had some quite unbelievable yields, too, but we’re sure happy about it.” He has about one-fourth of his corn harvested.

Planting for Gregory was not so flawless, “It was frustrating at first because it seemed like you could never get into the field but for three or days at a time. Other than that, all throughout the summer, it was pretty much what I would consider ideal.” He farms in the Marshall, Missouri area – in North-Central Missouri.
