Cash rents increased in 2014

USDA’s National Ag Statistics Service has updated their cash rental rates.  Based on survey information, cropland cash rent in Indiana averaged $195 per acre in 2014, up $3 from the previous year; the Corn Belt average increased $3 from the last year to $212 per acre.

Pasture rents in Indiana averaged $40.00 per acre compared to the Corn Belt average of $34.50.
