Smoky Nudes
Smokey Nudes

For nude fans, there’s definitely something to look forward to here with the Bobbi Brown Smokey Nude Palette for Fall 2014. A collection of 8 nudes shades, with creamy mattes, metallic and sparkle shades. The mattes really are buttery in texture – absolutely lovely – they glide onto the eye, which is a bit of a relief as I have found Bobbi textures to be quite variable of late. So, shades are (top row) Cream Matte, Naked Matte, Woodrose Matte, Silver Brown Sparkle and (bottom row) Watercolor Pink Sparkle, Nude Beach Metallic, Smokey Brown Metallic and Smoked Matte with Shimmer.

So you can see in the swatch (one swipe each) that they’re muted and blendable and really for that subtle smoked nude look that can be ramped up as much or as little as you’d like. When I applied to my eye, I used Naked (the pinky-buff shade) and Brown Metallic Sparkle with Smoked in the crease. It’s absolutely lovely. If you don’t already have a nude palette (and I find it hard to believe there is any woman left in the UK that doesn’t!) I’d highly recommend the Bobbi Brown Smokey Nudes Palette for texture, ease of use and beautiful, neutral-wow eye look.

I believe counter date is late for an autumn range – November – and I don’t have prices yet. Oh, if you haven’t mastered the smokey look, you can book a lesson at counter. For this palette, I’d recommend it, and it isn’t something I recommend often, but there are so many looks to be had from it that you might as well know how to do them all.
