Through August 19, 2014 (that means you only have today and tomorrow to take advantage of this promotion!) you are able to book a flight using your JetBlue TrueBlue points and receive a 25% discount. While this is pretty good if you have an award in mind, there are a few restrictions.
- Travel September 2 through November 20, 2014
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday flights only (excludes reservations for Fridays and Sundays).
- Fares will not be discounted less then 5,000 points
The discount will automatically be applied when you check the points required to redeem a flight. This is also a great promotion to combine with the currently 25% bonus when transferring your American Express Membership Reward points to JetBlue. This is giving you an even greater value of your Amex Membership Reward points where transferring points now actually might be worth it (for an immediate redemption though). I looked up many sample routes and it looks like you can get more then 2 cents per point when redeeming.

I’m holding an award booking on jetblue already and tried to call and have difference in points credited back into my account. After about 5 minutes, I was told that this promo is good for NEW bookings only. 🙁
In the past, I was able to have the points credited back, but now they don’t seem to do that.
