Maschhoffs acquire two Indiana sow farms

Illinois based The Maschhoffs will acquire two Indiana sow farms from affiliates of JBS United.  The farms are located in Morristown and Crawfordsville, Ind.  The two farms are capable of housing up to 7,500 sows and employ 30 individuals.

Jason Logsdon, Chief Executive Officer for The Maschhoffs says the transaction materialized due to The Maschhoffs long-standing relationship and partnership with JBS United and they look forward to integrating the farms and employees into their operation.

The Maschhoffs is the largest independent pork producer in the United States and partners with more than 450 production across the Midwest.
