Today’s Swagbucks success story is from Emily:
I’m not by any means a “Doomsday Prepper” but I do have a realistic fear of some sort of catastrophe. I live in Las Vegas where water is supplied to the masses from the ever-shrinking Lake Mead. Should something happen that prevented water delivery to the city, I’m prepared thanks to Swagbucks!
I started using Swagbucks after seeing the numerous postings about it here on MoneySavingMom.com. I quickly got a good system going, and managed to get $25-50 each month while staying home with my little one. I used my Swagbucks for the Amazon Gift Cards and started ordering my emergency gear.
We now have three kits (as seen in the picture above). One kit for each vehicle and one for the house. Included are: emergency water packets, water purification tablets, lifestraw, emergency rations, Mylar blankets, hand crank radio/emergency beacon, and moist towelettes.
This is by no means a long term survival kit but I feel better knowing I have enough water to get my family to a more stable location. I use Swagbucks everyday so that I can get more supplies, such as first aid books, large water storage containers, and books regarding local plants and animals.

If you are already on Swagbucks, join Bing rewards through the offer on Swagbucks. They often offer swagbucks just for joining. Then you do a quick search (less than 2 minutes) on your pc, earning 15 points per day (1 point for every 2 searches), then a quick search on your phone (1 point every 2 searches) up to 10. In this way I earn 25 points a day. One of the rewards is a $5 Amazon gift card, another is 500 swagbucks. Another way to up your swagbucks earnings.

I’d love to learn how to get extra points too! When I’ve answered surveys, my phone was non stop ringing with solicitation phone calls from people selling stuff.

If you get your daily goal each day with swagbucks you earn a bonus that day and if you get your daily goal every day for the month you get 300 extra sawgbucks. The bonuses usual post around the 5th of each month. I hit my goal by running SBTV and SBTV mobile. They just announced today via Facebook two new apps that help you earn more swagbucks! I also run encrave videos. This month I have cashed in for $100 just from swagbucks! 🙂

I’ve been at it for months and the only way i earn a lot of points is through purchases with other companies through swag bucks. I don’t have people to refer so I guess that’s why. I watch the videos and do the daily polls. There is an app so that might help increase video watching points.

Great job. I think it is completely irresponsible for parents to not have some kind of preps in case of an emergency no matter what area you live in. Power outages, water contamination, severe weather, etc. are becoming more common. Our children should not have to suffer because we didn’t prepare ahead of time.

Could you tell us what you did each day to earn that many swagbucks?
Thanks!
Emily says
Every day I do the daily poll, NOSO, and use the SBTV app on my phone. On my laptop I’m able to do the Encrave activities that will auto run so I only have to check my laptop every once in a while. I think I average about 100 Swagbucks per day. As long as I meet the set daily goal I end up with an extra $5-10 at the end of the month as well! Hope that helps 🙂
