Getting It All Done: When Homeschool and Housework Collide

That’s a perfectionistic outlook that sets us up for failure and discouragement. We’ve just started our 12th homeschooling year and I’ve yet to figure out how to get it all done. So, instead, I focus on getting the important stuff done – usually. The rest of it will be waiting when I get to it.

Nope. I still stand by every bit of this – including getting up early. I now regularly get up much earlier than I would have ever dreamed a few years ago and I am so much more productive. Even Brianna, who has had to get up early lately out of necessity, has seen the benefits of getting an early start on the day and is trying to turn over a new leaf.
