Missouri corn/soybeans still flourishing

Corn silking of the Missouri crop is way ahead of last year and the five year average at 91 percent complete as of Sunday.  The condition of corn also increased over the past week with 86 now good to excellent.

Soybean blooming progressed to 48 percent complete and the condition of the crop is rated 78 percent good to excellent.

Cotton squaring is 82 percent finished and while cotton setting bolls took a big jump to 23 percent complete it is still well behind the average.
