Through Gilt City, you can purchase two different vouchers for Go Green Rides at a discount:
- One-way ride within Manhattan for $12 —> This is valid for any two points south of 96th street which makes it a good deal! If you are going from the Upper East Side to Tribeca, for example, this fare will be well over $20.
- One-way ride to LaGuardia Airport for $25 —> This is also a cheap way to get to LaGuardia and much less then your yellow taxi.
Go Green Rides is an Uber-like service, with the different being that they only operate Prius hybrids (giving them a smaller carbon footprint). You reserve your ride through the GoGreenRides app. There are also charging stations and iPads in each car.
You must purchase this voucher by Monday morning (July 21, 2014), and redeem by January 9, 2015. This is also only valid for new users.
