In a previous post, I shared the new benefits of the US Airways® Premier World MasterCard® starting back on April 30th, 2014. But there are more benefits like the new spring promotion bonus where you can earn up to 2,500 bonus miles on certain categories of spending for a total of 2x points per dollar.

Category Spending Bonuses
From now through June 30th, 2014, card members can earn 2 bonus miles for up to 2,500 bonus miles on purchases at gas stations, dining, and home improvement stores. The trick is you have to select “activate” in the email offer before the deadline, which in this case was May 1st, 2014. But these offers do come around often in varying degrees to offer bonus miles to card members.
Bottom Line
If you have the US Airways card you can earn bonus miles through these special promotional offers. The latest one includes 2x bonus miles for up to 2,500 bonus miles on gas stations, dining and home improvement spending.

Targeted?
Must be targeted. I’ve never received any bonus mile offers on my US Airways card.
It’s absolutely targeted – they do these every quarter, but not every user receives it. Even receiving the email one quarter does not mean you will see it the next.
Must be targeted to dormant cards I’m guessing. I get these once in awhile but missed this one as I recently used my card.
