Our golf trip over a week was spent driving around to some of the best courses in Southport, England and St Andrews, Scotland. We ended it with a great last night happy hour in Edinburgh, Scotland. Then it was time to wake early, head to the airport, check our golf bags and head to the British Airways Galleries lounge before we parted ways for our separate flights back home.

The lounge entrance was located to the right after clearing security. It is clearly marked and convenient to most gates.

There was plenty of seats available for our flight that departed prior to 8 am on a Saturday morning.

The snacks were fairly good for an early morning snack. I ended up wishing I hadn’t eaten so much in this room, after seeing the breakfast food options in the Concorde Room in London.

There is a business center towards the back.

The back of the lounge is where one would have expected restrooms, but there were none in the lounge, just this sign.

But the best part about this lounge is the complimentary Woodford Reserve available at the bar. Too bad we were on an early morning flight before a layover in London and a long First Class flight back to the U.S. in British Airways.

Bottom Line

Overall the British Airways Galleries lounge was a great place to relax and enjoy a last few moments together on our last day of the Ultimate golf trip to Scotland. After about an hour my brother and dad left for their flight with British Airways to London Gatwick. I walked them to the gate, said our goodbyes and then headed to my gate to catch my British Airways flight to London Heathrow.

  1. I’m impressed, I have tto admit. Seldom do I
encounter a blog that’s both educative and entertaining, and without a doubt, you
havve hit the nail oon the head. The issue is an issue that too few men and
women are speaking intelligently about. I am very happy I stumbled across this
in my hunt for something regarding this.
