The TSA PreCheck program for expedited security screening has added its first foreign carrier, Air Canada, as of April 29, 2014 (see press release).

Currently Air Canada customers must check-in at the airport counter or kiosk to be eligible. Later this year Air Canada will introduce the functionality for print at home and mobile apps.

Canadian NEXUS members are eligible to use PreCheck across airlines by entering their Known Traveler Number in their airline profile, as Global Entry and PreCheck members.

There are now 115 airports with PreCheck security lines, when they operate, 40 of which will be used by Air Canada. There are now 10 airlines participating in PreCheck (Air Canada, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, US Airways and Virgin America). Specifics on upcoming foreign carriers have not been released.
