Herbs and Edible Flowers Growing Workshop

Runnerbean Flowers and Nasturtium

Next Saturday I’ll be giving a presentation at Plant World in Etobicoke, Ontario (in the suburbs of Toronto) on the topic of Growing Beautiful and Edible Herbs and Edible Flowers in Small Spaces (description below).

The store will have copies of my first three books available for sale, including You Grow Girl, Grow Great Grub, and Easy Growing. I’ll be on hand after the talk to sign books and chat. If you attend, please come up afterward and introduce yourself!

Lavender and Purple Sage
Lavender and Purple Sage

When: Saturday, April 26th, 2014 at 2pm

Where: Plant World 4000 Eglinton Avenue West, Etobicoke (just east of Royal York Road).

Pretty Delicious: Taking off from her book Easy Growing: Organic Herbs and Edible Flowers from Small Spaces, Gayla will showcase an array of fascinating herbs and edible flowers that will inspire new or renewed enthusiasm for your kitchen and kitchen garden (or wherever you can squeeze in a planter).

Please note that this talk is not just a rehash of info already in the book or on this website — it’s worth it to come out. We’ll be indoors but I’m still crossing my fingers for good weather!

p.s. If you’ve never been, Plant World is quite a large garden centre so you may want to build in some extra time to browse.
