Little to no corn planted in Indiana

Late spring weather and the aftermath of this past winter has again slowed planting progress this week.  Little to no corn and no soybeans have been planted to date.

Sixty percent of the winter wheat crop is rated good to excellent.

One-hundred percent of the state’s topsoil moisture and 98 percent of the subsoil moisture is considered Adequate to Surplus.

Hay and Roughage supplies are listed as 85 percent adequate to surplus.

Due to generally wet conditions, fieldwork around the state remains limited.
