The Daily Beauty Report (14.04.14)

Lots of breaking beauty news today...

A new skin care launch "Éminence Organic Skincare has announced the launch of Arctic Berry Peel & Peptide Illuminating System, a three-step at-home system to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots. Based on the botanically sourced oligopeptide from hibiscus seed, six natural acids and Arctic plants and berries, the system comprises Arctic Berry Enzyme Exfoliant, Arctic Berry Advanced Peel Activator MA10, and Arctic Berry Peptide Radiance Cream. To complement the range, a professional treatment, which includes a double-strength version of the peel activator will launch in spas and salons nationwide. " At £95 it is pretty pricey but given what it claims to do I am intrigued none the less.

I won't claim to know much about this but apparently OPI are set to relaunch - OPI Damone Roberts 1968 which has completely sold out both times it was launched. Damone Roberts is often referred to “The Eyebrow King” in the US and the OPI shade is based on the wall color in his salons. Like I said I know nothing about the man but the polish is a beautiful shade none the less.

For Summer 2014 Illamasqua will introduce Matte Veil which of course is a spin off from their ever loved Hydra Veil. Illamasqua Matte Veil is said to act as a primer but also keep oil at bay. This oily gal is intrigued to say the least and with Summer around the corner it really couldn't launch at a better time!

Come June Elemis will launch their Pro-Collagen Hydra-Gel Eye Masks which aim to instantly reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It should brighten the eye area, seals in moisture and reduces puffiness to leave the eye contours smoother and brighter. Gimme!

This coming July NARS will launch their Dual Intensity Eyeshadows "I wanted to try something different in the eye-shadow category and pushed our chemists to create a new formulation that would be first-to-market and have the flexibly of being used wet or dry,” said founder François Nars

On May the 1st Lanolips will launch their Antibacterial Hand Cream it is said to be free from alcohol and triclosan and contains ingredients such as lanolin and aloe vera. It aims to not only condition the skin but protect it too without stripping it of natural oils. I'm such a fan of the brands lip balms that I will have to purchase this as they never let me down!

Have a lovely evening everyone.
