by Diane Lindquist on 03/25/2014 | 4 Minute Read

Tadeu Magalhães, Senior Designer and Head of Print Production, and Jacqueline Sullivan, Project Manager & Copywriter, of RoAndCo, will be presenting Fashion Branding: From Inspiration to Logo and Packaging at The Dieline Conference on Wednesday, May 14, 2014.

Tadeu Magalhães moved to New York from Brazil to join RoAndCo in May of 2009. His extensive experience with branding projects, ranging from fashion to beauty to hospitality clients, combined with his ample knowledge of print methods, materials, and detail oriented methodology make him RoAndCo's lead print production designer. Tadeu has been an integral part of RoAndCo’s team for the past 4 years and is responsible for overseeing the design team from the initial phases of a project to print production and web development, as well as working directly with clients and maintaining relationship with vendors and partners. With 10 years of graphic design experience, Tadeu has been awarded several print design projects by the likes of Brand New Awards (2012, 2011), FPO Awards (2011, 2012, 2013), and the Clube de Criação Awards in Brazil (2008). His clients include Honor, Apple, Rachael Ray, Shiseido, Creative Space, W Hotels, Svbscription and Call It Spring.

Jacqueline joined RoAndCo in October 2012 to pursue a career in the design world. As Project Manager, Jacqueline oversees the design team and maintains client and vendor relationships. She cracks the whip to meet deadlines and pats the team on the back when they accomplish them, stay within budget and fulfill the client's expectations. She makes sure the team works hard but laughs, too. Jacqueline studied Creative Writing at the University of Southern California as well as Decorative Arts and Design at Sotheby's Institute of Art in London. She previously worked for the Whitney Museum of American Art. With a background in the art world, she approaches her job with an artful and creative style — integrating her right brain and left brain capabilities for a fresh perspective.

Meet RoAndCo's Tadeu Magalhães & Jacqueline Sullivan at The Dieline Conference

Find out how you can balance conflicting goals to create engaging branding worlds for up-and-coming fashion labels and lifestyle brands.

Emerging fashion brands often present graphic designers with branding tasks that seem to pull them in opposite directions: to develop branding systems that feel established and trustworthy, yet fresh and desirable; to appeal to very well-defined audiences and micro-cultures, while also being noticed by press and buyers; to create high-end-looking graphic pieces that are exciting and new, but rely on limited budgets and short runs. By reflecting on a few branding and packaging projects produced at RoAndCo, Tadeu Magalhães & Jacqueline Sullivan will expose you to ideas about how you can balance these opposing goals in real life.
