The LA Times carries a news story about the crackdown on carry-on by United. Reported on a number of bulletin boards, a United spokesman said:
“We are getting feedback from customers who have the right size bags, telling us that there is not enough space in the overhead bins,” said United spokesman Charles Hobart. “This is a response to that.”
There is not much other new in the story, but it’s nice to know that the clampdown actually is happening, even if I won’t like having to check my bag if it is deemed ‘too large’.
