Backbone Bourbon had been on the market for a few years before Crossroad Vintners hired CODO to design the Bone Snapper Rye Whiskey label.
After the success of that project, Bill and Nolan hired CODO to redesign the Backbone Bourbon label to better reflect its association with Bone Snapper. Overall, a rugged, masculine Western theme speaks to the beginning days of whiskey, when it was uncut and packed a punch.
