It’s officially fall, so let’s get a weekly menu plan for the first full week of fall!
It’s finally here, fall! That means suddenly everything in our home turns to pumpkin or maple. I just can’t help myself.
We have already been enjoying delicious chili and soups this month. I’m anxious for even more of those tasty soups and chili recipes.
The great thing is that many of them can be made in the instant pot or slow cooker, meaning that we have some go-to easy meals for busy weeknights.
We are full swing into the fall activities like football. I will admit just as I was with basketball, I’m a bit overwhelmed. The good thing is though that it’s only temporary and then we get a break for a bit before basketball season begins.
The homework is even more this year for my son, so that’s been a challenge trying to figure out a balance of activities versus homework and of course trying to make dinner too. I have another year until my daughter will soon be bringing home homework too, so I’m trying to enjoy just one child that has homework at the moment.

Of course, he doesn’t think that’s fair that she never has homework, but I guess that’s life, right? I am sure she will be jealous when he’s out of college and she’s just starting too, so there is that.

Just like that the first menu for fall is done!
I absolutely love this season and yet I feel like it goes by faster than any other season too. I’ll try to refrain from going on about how much I feel like the years are speeding up too.
In the meantime, enjoy these great recipes and this wonderful fall season!
