Two men arrested, accused of sexually abusing Bonita Springs child

Two men were arrested Thursday on suspicion of sexually abusing a child in Bonita Springs, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office.

Timoteo Escalante Sebastian and Efrain Santiago Joaquin, both 21, face felony charges of sexual battery of a victim younger than 12. 

On Thursday, deputies went to a home in Bonita Springs and talked to the child and her family, according to an agency news release. Detectives reported they were told the child was sexually abused during the last two years.

After being interviewed at the Sheriff's Office, the men were booked at the Lee County Jail.
