President Trump Attacks Kavanaugh Accuser Christine Ford: She Would Have Gone to the Police If Assault Was ‘As Bad As She Says’
President Donald Trump on Friday ramped up his attacks on the credibility of Christine Blasey Ford, the woman accusing Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of attempted sexual assault when they were both teenagers.
“I have no doubt that, if the attack on Dr. Ford was as bad as she says, charges would have been immediately filed with local Law Enforcement Authorities by either her or her loving parents,” the president wrote on Twitter. “I ask that she bring those filings forward so that we can learn date, time, and place!”

Ford has said that she didn’t go to the police after Kavanaugh and his friend Mark Judge allegedly tried to rape her when she was 15 years old.
Sexual assaults often go unreported, as many women are often scared of facing retaliation and of getting unwanted scrutiny of their personal lives.
