Police seek armed robber of Chevron store

Shreveport Police are investigating the armed robbery of a local convenience store Wednesday night in east Shreveport.

Robbery suspect is seen on surveillance at the Chevron in the 2500 East 70th Street in Shreveport.

Just before 8 p.m., Shreveport Police patrol officers were called to the Chevron gas station located in the 2500 block of East 70th Street. Officers learned a suspect entered the business and demanded money from the store clerk at gunpoint.

The suspect in the crime was described as a black male who was approximately 6 fee tall and weighed approximately 230-240 pounds. After making off with the cash, the suspect fled the business on foot. There were no reports of any injuries.
