Milwaukee police seek two men in armed carjacking that took place in August

One of two men sought in an armed carjacking by Milwaukee police.

Milwaukee police are seeking two men in an August armed carjacking.

The carjacking occurred about 1:40 a.m. Aug. 6 in the 6000 block of North Teutonia Avenue, a Police Department news release said.

According to the release:

Two men in a car pulled up behind another vehicle. One of the men got out of the passenger side of the car, produced a black handgun and opened the driver's side door of the vehicle in front of them. The driver of that vehicle jumped out and fled. The armed man then got into the vehicle and drove off followed by his accomplice.

One suspect is described as a black male, 25 to 30 years old, 180 to 200 pounds and 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, with a dark complexion and beard. The second suspect is described only as a black male.

The car they arrived in was a gray 1997 to 2005 Chevrolet Malibu or 1997 to 1999 Oldsmobile Cutlass.
