MADISON - Wisconsin's three-point loss to unranked BYU on Saturday cost UW dearly in the Amway coaches poll.

UW (2-1) dropped 10 spots to No. 16 on Sunday, the largest drop of any team this week.

Boise State suffered the second-biggest drop, falling seven spots to No. 24 after a 23-point loss to Oklahoma State.

UW opens Big Ten play at 7:30 p.m. Saturday against host Iowa (3-0).

Among other Big Ten teams in the top 25, Ohio State stayed at No. 4, Penn State rose one spot to No. 9, and Michigan and Michigan State both climbed a spot to No. 21 and 23, respectively.

UW dropped 12 spots to No. 18 in The Associated Press poll.
