DJ Aaron Rodgers cuts loose at the turntables in next IZOD ad installment

Aaron Rodgers goes full-on DJ in a new spot in his marketing campaign for IZOD.

If you thought Aaron Rodgers was impressive against the Chicago Bears during “Sunday Night Football,” check out what he can do behind the turntables.

In the latest installment of his new marketing campaign for IZOD, the Green Bay Packers quarterback shows what happens when he takes off his helmet and puts on a pair of DJ headphones.

“Have you ever wondered what Aaron Rodgers does to relax before a game?” asks the narrator, as a buttoned-up Rodgers in a bow tie playing piano in a bar lounge. Flash to an extreme goat close-up (as in a GOAT reference), and suddenly it’s an animated Rodgers going wild at the DJ turntables with a mash-up of lasers and graphics of footballs, sharks, eagles and American flags. There’s some mean air guitar, too.

IZOD debuted the clip Monday, after Rodgers led the Packers to a heroic comeback Sunday against the Bears at Lambeau Field.

It’s part of the same campaign that premiered last week and showed up during the “Sunday Night Football” broadcast. In those spots, he stars with “Saturday Night Live” cast member Colin Jost, playing backyard football and DJing a party. Jost wrote the campaign, which pokes fun at some of the more cliched moments in menswear advertising.
