Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
WUWM and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel are collaborating on an effort to keep voters informed for the November elections.

November’s midterm elections could change the balance of power here in Wisconsin and in the U.S. Congress.

From hotly contested races to the security of elections themselves, WUWM-FM (89.7) — Milwaukee's NPR — and the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel are partnering to help you gain a better understanding of what’s at stake on Nov. 6.

This biweekly series, called Informed Voter: Wisconsin's Midterm Elections, is an opportunity for you to connect with our reporters to have your election-related questions answered.

Leading up to election day, Informed Voter will air every other Wednesday on WUWM's "Lake Effect."

To participate in this collaboration, text "election" to 414-269-6404. Tell us what you want to know or better understand about Wisconsin's upcoming midterm elections.

And, as election day approaches, we want to stay in touch with you. Follow the text prompts to join our Informed Voter Texting Club. You will then receive a text from us every two weeks to let you know what theme or topic our series will dig into next and to see if you have any specific questions to ask.

Between WUWM and the Journal Sentinel, we will do our best to answer your questions — either via text or through our stories — so that you can be a more informed voter this November.
