Milwaukee police investigate fatal stabbing, multiple shootings

Milwaukee police are investigating a fatal stabbing and three separate shootings Sunday that left four people, including a teenager, injured, the department said Monday.

According to police:

  • A man was fatally stabbed during an altercation in the 800 block of North James Lovell Street about 10:15 p.m. Sunday.
  • Two people, a 22-year-old and 23-year-old, shot each other during an argument about 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of South 10th Street. They drove themselves to hospitals.
  • A 15-year-old boy suffered a wound that was not life-threatening in a shooting in the 2300 block of West Burleigh Street around 9 a.m. Sunday. Police believe the gunshot was self-inflicted.
  • And a 59-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds in a shooting in the 3100 block of North 12th Street around 3:25 p.m.
