'Too Stupid to Die' on MTV features Chad Tepper of Merritt Island High

MTV's new stunt show "Too Stupid to Die" has a Brevard tie.

Reality TV personality Chad Tepper's back on the network with this "Jackass"-inspired show. It's a return to MTV for Tepper, who attended Merritt Island High School.

The tongue-in-cheek trailer for "Too Stupid to Die" pretty much tells you all you'll need to know: "Warning: The stunts and the pranks you're about to witness are performed by professionals. Don't be a moron."

The eight-episode series, which premieres at 10 p.m. Aug. 21 on MTV, spotlights the life of daredevil Zach Holmes, bizarre pranks and Holmes' inner circle of antic-loving friends, which includes Tepper.

"This show's going to be huge," says Tepper. "The whole time on the show I would say, 'Honey, you ain't hit and heard that,'" a reference to Tepper's music video "Aint Hit."

Here's a list of the cast and characters from "Too Stupid to Die:"

• Zach, 26 (“The Stupid Genius”): The mastermind, building his following on Facebook and Instagram through his fearless stunts.

• Coty, 26 (“The Screamer”): Always up for friendly competition and rarely plays by the rules.

• Meggan, 26 (“Hell On Wheels”): Holds her own within this insane group of guys and is typically the one to push the limits.

• Tommy, 26 (“Most Redneck”): The guinea pig of the group who will step up when others are too scared.

• Chad, 27 (“Tattooed Teddy Bear”): Big-hearted and the glue that keeps the crew together.

• Damon (Blazer), 27 (“Human Trashcan”): Known for doing all things gross -- plus he'll eat anything.

• Khyler, 22 (“Mr. Fearless”): Up to try anything once…or twice.

• Chad Tepper, 26 (“The Instigator”): YouTube star — his description is "come watch me be a idiot" — who visits the crew and takes things to the next level.

• "Hollywood Cycle" on E! in 2015

• "Ink Master" on Spike in 2013
