Pets of all denominations blessed Aug. 25 at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Mount in Ruidoso

Everyone in the community is invited to bring their pet to the Episcopal Church of the Holy Mount next Saturday, Aug. 25, y for the annual Blessing of the Animals.

A feline pet is blessed in a prior year's event

The event begins at 10:30 a.m. and ends when all the animals have been blessed. Reverend Judy Burgess will perform the blessings. 

Leashes or cages are requested for everyone’s safety please. Bring  cats, dogs, horses, llamas, parrots, goldfish (in a bowl, of course), snakes (in something, please), or other pets, furry or not, to the event.

The church is located on MescaleroTrail in Ruidoso and the event will be on the grounds of the church.
