Ceres Solutions Knowledge event helps farmer improve bottom line

The president and CEO of Ceres Solutions Cooperative says farmers are looking for ways to improve their bottom line as they continue to face low commodity prices and the co-op wants to help them do that.

Jeff Troike says it’s not just about providing quality seed treatments, cover crops, and technology anymore.

“With the lower commodity prices it is more about how many bushels are you producing per acre to cover your expenses and I think that’s what we can help them do,” he says.

Troike spoke to Brownfield at the Ceres Solutions Knowledge event in western Indiana.
