Rain helps crops in Indiana

The USDA says that rain helped soybean progress and grain fill in corn in Indiana this week.

Topsoil and subsoil moisture levels were 73 percent and 69 percent adequate to surplus, the highest level since early June.

Corn is 71 percent good to excellent and soybeans are 69 percent good to excellent.

Mint harvest is almost complete and tomato harvest is now underway in the Hoosier state.
