Jo Malone Charity Candles 2018

Candle guilt it's definitely a thing, right? Those little pangs of worry-like woe when you add yet another pricey scented candle to your collection are something I know only too well but there is an annual way to both treat yourself and do a little good to boot. Yes, it is of course time to purchase a Jo Malone Charity Candle but this year all three fragrances are back, meaning if you missed out the first time around or simply fell hard for a particular scent you can indulge once again.

As you may be aware, Jo Malone continuously supports charities via specifically created charitable products such as the annual Jo Malone Charity Candles; the sale of such product supports the many Jo Malone gardens throughout the U.K, said gardens offer both training and support to those who have become vulnerable and isolated due to ill mental health.

"For each Charity Home Candle sold in the UK, Jo Malone Limited will make a donation equal to 75% of the retail price of £47 (less VAT) to support individuals and families affected by mental health problems through dedicated projects with inspirational charities. Raising awareness. Providing support. Empowering people to recover. Reconnect. Grow." Jo Malone London

Typically, Jo Malone only launch one limited edition charity candle each year but for the first time ever, all three previous incarnations are available for purchase: Jo Malone White Lilac & Rhubarb Charity Candle (soft, fruity and uplifting - perfect for the Summer), Jo Malone Iris & Lady More Charity Candle (powdery, floral and a great choice for those who are a fan Jo Malone Wild Bluebell products) and Jo Malone Peony & Moss Charity Candle (floral yet slightly earthen at the same time) - each as beautifully fragrant as the last.

Can we can talk about that packaging though? Have you ever seen prettier candle jars/containers each of which beautifully and intricately illustrates the fragrance composition of the candle with ease. The beautiful floral illustrations please me far more than I should let on (it is how it smells that should really matter after all) and yet I have a thousand and one little ideas on how exactly I will re-purpose the glorious glass containers once the physical candle is but a mere scented memory.

You can find all three of the Jo Malone Charity Candles here whilst stocks last £47/200g - link
