Milwaukee police release photos of suspects, vehicle in fatal shooting outside south side tavern

Milwaukee police released photos Friday of two men and a vehicle wanted in a fatal shooting outside a south side tavern.

A 29-year-old man was involved an argument with two men about 1 a.m. July 12 when one of them pulled out a gun and shot him, police said.

Alain Lovaco-Viniegra died from his injuries the next morning.

The shooting occurred outside a tavern on West Grant Street near South 16th Street and witnesses reported seeing the two suspects flee in a black 2007-2014 Cadillac Escalade. The SUV also appeared to have removable, magnetic signs.

Police said the first suspect was described as a Hispanic man, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, stocky and in his early 30s with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a green hat, a green soccer jersey and green pants.

The second suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his early 20s, about 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds. The man was clean shaven and last seen wearing a green soccer jersey.
