JBS suspends shipments from KY Farm after undercover abuse video

JBS USA, the U.S. branch of the world’s largest meat producer, reportedly has stopped shipments from a pig farm where workers were shown abusing pigs in an undercover video released by Mercy for Animals.

The video, released Tuesday, shows some workers hitting, kicking and throwing pigs at a Tosh Farms site in Kentucky.

Tosh Farms, on its Facebook page, says actions in the video are against their policy and they will re-train their staff immediately. Tosh, based in Tennessee, says a third-party veterinarian did not find any problems at the site on Tuesday.
