The Milwaukee Flyers appear during a game in the 2018 Milwaukee Bucks season. The Bucks are holding tryouts for local performers who will appear during breaks in games in the upcoming season at their new arena.

The Milwaukee Bucks are looking for local performers with skills such as break dancing and tumbling to perform during their games in the upcoming season.

The team is holding "Milwaukee's Got Talent" auditions on Aug. 4 and 5 at St. Augustine Preparatory School, 2607 S. 5th St.

The Bucks are seeking "talented individual and group performers with a skill set in the following areas: break dancing, tumbling, parkour, dance (all ages and styles), drumming and more."

The tryouts are part of a broader effort to refine the Bucks in-game entertainment to correspond with the opening of the team's new $524 million arena, said Johnny Watson, Bucks director of live programming and entertainment.

The new cadre of performers will be in addition to the Bucks Dancers, Hoop Troop, Rim Rockers and drum line that perform during breaks in the action.

"There’s a lot of talent in Milwaukee and across the state and we’re excited to feature it in the new arena," Watson said.

Those participating in the free auditions should bring their own music and costumes and perform for no longer than two minutes. All ages are invited to audition.

Registration is required and can be completed at www.bucks.com/mgt. The registration deadline is July 27.

The grand opening of the new arena is Aug. 26.
