Church of the Holy Mount celebrates Christmas in July
The annual event draws a big crowd to rummage through the garage sale, select finer items from the boutique, stay for lunch and leave with some baked goods, as well as new treasures

St Anne’s Guild at the Episcopal Church of Holy Mount is celebrating its annual Christmas in July from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., July 21.
The event draws crowds to the church at 121 Mescalero Trail, Ruidoso, to rummage through items in the garage sale and a boutique of finer items such as jewelry, collectible and antiques.
A bake sale offers scrumptious goodies including English toffee, peanut brittle and Tinnie’s famous seasoning salt. The church's cookbook will be available for $16.95.
A luncheon will be served to adults for $12 and children under 12 for $6 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.. The menu consists of roast beef and mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, bread and dessert..
Money raised from the event goes to St. Anne's Guild, which then distributes outreach dollars to The Nest domestic violence shelter, COPE, High Mountain Youth Project, Lincoln County Food Bank, Joseph’s Workshop and the Christmas Mission Group.
