Watercolor with Joy Clair and Leisure Arts
Hello there! Today I am featuring Light House stamp set from Joy Clair and The Watercolor Pencils from Leisure Arts. Like you know, this month we will share with you the different Joy Clair Stamps colored with the fabulous pencils. Take a look at my card:
I started my card stamping the light house and sentiment images from the stamp set Light House over watercolor cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and my Stamparatus or MISTI.
Then with post it or masking tape, I created the projected light. I just use one yellow color from the Watercolor Pencils from Leisure Art with an aquapainter to create the shadow. I made first the right side of the light and then the left side. I removed the post-it or masking tape.
Using three different blue watercolor pencils from Leisure Arts, I made a free waves over the stamped layer and with an aquapainter I made the watercolor effect.
Using Memento Desert Sand Ink I stamped the images of the light like grass and with brown and green colors I made the grass around the light house.
At this point, I continue coloring the images and adding some other details always using the watercolor pencils from Leisure Arts.
To finalize the card, I just cut the stamped and painted layer using a large Cross Stitched Rectangle from Gina Marie Designs and cut the card base in Real Red cardstock. Then I pasted a strip of washitape black and gold pasted it directly on the left side of the card base and then pasted the watercolor layer.
The Joy Clair Stamps are wonderful to coloring and I have been using these watercolors pencils since a few months ago and definitely I love it. If you want to find more details about the Leisure Arts coloring products just click HERE.
