Did you say Free at Disney World? It is possible to pick up small tokens for free during your vacation. Below are my 7 favorite freebies at Disney.
1. A Pirate’s Adventure ~ Treasures of the Seven Seas Map
Find A Pirate’s Adventure ~ Treasures of the Seven Seas in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom. Guests are given a map and a magic talisman. Then, complete one of 5 different missions to find lost treasure. Complete them all and you become an official member of Captain Jack’s crew! Plus, the neat looking map is yours to keep.
2. Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom Cards
Another interactive game in Magic Kingdom is the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom. Register at fire house on Main Street. Then use your spell cards to defeat Villains at various locations throughout the park, plus the spell cards are yours to keep.
3. Free Buttons
Celebratory buttons are a great free souvenir. Learn 3 places to find them. Guests can choose from (these are subject to change from time to time): Happy Birthday, Happily Ever After, 1st Visit or I’m Celebrating: (Fill In The Blank) buttons.
4. Stickers
Who doesn’t love stickers? Disney Stickers are the best. Sometimes Cast Members will randomly hand out stickers. Last trip I received Mickey Mouse, Ariel and more. If you pass by a Cast Member, you can always politely ask if they have any stickers on them as well. It is fun to see how many different ones you can collect.
5. Ice Water QS
Do not buy a bottle of water at Disney World, since guests can get a nice cold iced water for free. Just ask any quick service restaurant in Disney. I love the cups at Starbucks.
6. Free Pixie Dust
Stop by Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique located in Cinderella’s Castle (the location in Disney Springs) for a pixie dusting. Even if you are not participating in the packages offered, guests can stop by and ask a Fairy Godmother in training to sprinkle your hair.
7. Park Maps
Pick up a Park Map from each of Disney World’s 4 main theme parks. Check off everything you do, it will be fun to look back on later. If you are visiting Epcot during a festival, the park map with have the name of the front. Other park maps occasionally covers change as well. Consider picking up a map in another language too!
