The middle of July is here, but first it’s time for a menu plan!
We are exactly 4 weeks away from school starting back again. I think I’m going to go into denial because I have to admit that summer has been very nice! This may have been one of my favorite summers so far, and I will say that having a pool really helped. I think thought my kids are finally to the age that we can really go out and do things without having to hurry back for naps, that’s super nice.
We’ve had a fun summer these past 2 months and I’m looking forward to soaking up every single second of the next 4 weeks. I’m sure it’ll be mixed in with getting ready for back to school, but I still plan to be floating in the pool with the kids every evening until school is back in.
Let’s face it, here in Oklahoma it’s hot until October, so I’m sure we will still be using the pool for a while after school starts. We are also doing football this year with our son for the first time in several years, so I’m excited about that as well.
